Accepting Online Payments
LodgeKit integrates with Stripe, PayPal, and GoCardless so guests, residents, campers, members, or customers can pay their invoices online. Once a payment gateway is connected, they see a Pay Now button on their invoices in the self-service portal.
Setting Up Online Payments
To accept online payments, you need to connect at least one payment gateway.
Go to Settings > Integrations
Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Integrations from the sidebar.
Choose a gateway
Find the payment gateway you want to connect — Stripe for credit cards, PayPal for PayPal payments, or GoCardless for direct debit.
Enter your credentials
Follow the prompts to enter your API keys or connect your account. Each gateway has its own setup process — see the dedicated guides for Stripe, PayPal, and GoCardless.
Test the connection
Click Test Connection to verify everything is working. Use test/sandbox credentials first before going live.
You can connect multiple gateways at the same time. People will see all available payment options when they click Pay Now.
What People See
When someone opens an unpaid invoice in the portal, they see a Pay Now button. Clicking it opens a secure payment form powered by your connected gateway. After payment, the invoice is automatically marked as paid and both you and the payer receive confirmation.
